A walk through the door, the room, the conversation, and the first few minutes, so nothing about it is a surprise.

The night before a first session, many women lie awake running through the same questions. What will the room look like? What do I say when I walk in? Do I take my clothes off right away? What if I cry, or laugh, or freeze?

I would like to remove as much of the mystery as I can. This is a walk through a first visit to my studio in Laguna Hills, in the order that it happens.

Before you arrive

I share the studio address when you confirm your booking, not before, since it is a private space.

Eat lightly. Drink water. Skip alcohol and go easy on caffeine. Wear whatever is comfortable, because you will not be wearing it for long unless you choose to, and the choice is entirely yours. Leave jewelry at home if you can. If you want, bring a bottle of water and a sweater for afterward.

Arrive a few minutes early. If you get there before your time, sit in the car and breathe slowly for a minute or two. That small pause helps.

The door and the room

The studio is a quiet room set up for one purpose. It is warm, softly lit, and uncluttered, with a massage table dressed in clean linens. You are the only client, and I do not book sessions back to back, so you will not feel anyone waiting for you to finish.

There is nothing in the room to be afraid of. If you want the light dimmer, the room warmer, or the music off, say so. It is your session.

The conversation

Before anything else, you and I sit and talk. This is the most important part of the visit, and it is not a formality.

I ask what brought you, what you are hoping for, and what you would rather avoid. You can say as much or as little as you like. You do not need a story. "I am tired" is enough. "I am curious" is enough. "I do not know" is a perfectly good answer.

I explain how the session will unfold, in order, so there are no surprises. I describe what I will do and what I will not do. I tell you that I do not have sex with clients, and that I will not touch you in any way you have not agreed to.

Then you and I settle three things together.

Your draping. You choose, anywhere from fully clothed to fully undressed. Many women start with a towel or sheet and adjust as they feel comfortable. You can change your mind at any point.

Your boundaries. You tell me which areas are welcome and which are not. Work with the yoni is optional, it comes late in the session, and it begins externally. A complete session without it is still complete.

Your word. Your word is "pause." Saying it stops everything immediately, with no explanation required. It is yours to use any time, for any reason.

I explain more about this part in my first-timer's guide to yoni massage in Orange County.

Getting settled

When you are ready, I step out so you can undress to whatever level you chose and lie on the table under the sheet. I wait for your answer before I return.

Once you are settled, I invite you to breathe. Before there is any massage at all, I rest my hands on your body, and I stay there with you for a few breaths. Many women notice that they have been holding their breath.

The massage

Then the massage begins. I use warm oil and long, slow strokes, working the whole body: back, legs, arms, belly, shoulders, neck, and scalp. I check in with you at intervals about pressure and comfort. You do not have to speak, but you can at any time.

This part makes up most of the session. It is not a warm-up for something else. Many women find that it is the part they remember most, because no one has paid this kind of unhurried attention to their body in a long time.

If you have chosen yoni work, I ask again out loud before I begin, and the touch starts external and unhurried. If your body says yes, I continue. If it says not today, I stop, and I return to the rest of the body. Either way, the session counts as a success.

What you might feel

Women describe a wide range. Some feel warmth spread through the body, and some feel tingling. Some feel very little during the session and more afterward. Some laugh. Some cry. Some drift into something like sleep. Some feel a wave of sadness or relief they cannot explain.

All of these are welcome. None of them is a sign that something went wrong. I stay with you through whatever arrives, and I do not ask you to describe it.

Coming back

The last part of the visit is slow. I leave you to rest and dress in privacy. I offer water. There is no pressure to talk about the session, and you can sit with me or alone. Nobody hurries you out.

Before you leave, I tell you what you may notice over the next few days, such as tiredness, vivid dreams, or emotional waves, and I invite you to be gentle with your calendar. Plan a quiet evening if you can.

How long it all takes

A first session is at least two hours, and nothing runs against a clock. I wrote about the reasons in why the first yoni massage session is two hours.

Booking

I am in Orange County about one week each month, so sessions are booked around those visits, with a waiting list for the next one. The first step is a free conversation, usually fifteen minutes, where you can ask me anything. You can read about my private tantra massage studio in Laguna Hills on my main site, or see the overview on the page for tantra massage for women in Orange County.

Frequently asked questions

Is the studio a clinic or a spa? Neither. It is a private, quiet room set up for this work. There are no other clients.

Do I have to undress? No. You choose your level of draping, from fully clothed to fully undressed, and you can change your mind at any time.

What if I get nervous and want to stop? Say "pause." Everything stops at once, and you do not need to explain. You can talk with me, take a break, or end the session.

Can I bring someone with me? For a woman's session, I work with one person at a time. If you would like to come with a partner, I offer couples sessions separately.

When do I get the address? When you confirm your booking, after you and I have spoken by phone. It is a private studio, so I do not post it publicly.
